The CPD introduces the various types of flat roof liquid waterproofing systems currently utilised within construction, with a focus on cold applied PU and PMMA liquid products. The importance of flat roof assessment and common roof defects are highlighted, along with an overview of the various types of roof build ups suitable for cold applied liquid systems. Balconies and green roof applications are considered, along with considerations for selecting the correct system for the type of roof and the associated components and detailing for this. The seminar concludes with some project case study examples of cold applied liquid waterproofing for flat roofs.
